ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in India where I completed my undergraduate studies. My passion for aerospace engineering brought me to the US where I pursued my higher education. Three engineering degrees, good international exposure, and substantial professional experience have evolved me into a useful human resource and a seasoned problem solver. I have also founded several student based organizations to impact the community through cutting edge research in various fields of study.
EDUCATION
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Optimal Control Theory
My Ph.D. work advanced optimal control theory that can solve several challenging optimal control problems rapidly and more efficiently.
2014 - 2018
Purdue University
Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace Engineering
Entry, Descent, and Landing for Mars Missions
My masters directive project under Professor Grant proposed an innovative way of utilizing the Martian atmosphere more effectively for landing human-class payload on Martian surface.
Multidisciplinary Design Optimization
Optimal control theory cannot solve many multi disciplinary problems with discrete inputs. I have worked on and possess extensive knowledge about multidisciplinary design optimization techniques.
2011 - 2013
Purdue University
Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering
2006 - 2010
Uttar Pradesh Technical University, India
Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering
Aerospace Systems Engineering
As a student member of a Purdue-NASA Marshall Space Flight Center team, I helped in developing a system-of-systems approach involving different entry, descent, and landing techniques for human-class Mars mission architecture selection based on mission requirements.
